Questions.Straight answers about how SUITA plans your food and your training.

Everything below is how the app actually behaves. If your question is not here, send it through support and we will answer it.

Getting started

How do I get fit fast?

The fastest honest route is a calorie target you actually hit, enough protein, and a training week you can repeat, and SUITA sets all three on the first day. It works your energy needs out from your own measurements, writes the meals that meet them, and anchors your sessions to the weekdays you can really train.

Speed comes from repetition rather than from a harder programme. SUITA keeps the week small enough to keep: sessions sit on fixed weekdays, every movement is rewritten to the equipment you actually have, and nothing slides forward when life gets in the way.

There is no shortcut worth taking, and the app will not offer you one. Calories are never set below your resting metabolic rate, and anyone under 18 gets no deficit and no surplus at all.

Is an AI coach any good?

A good one is, and SUITA is built so the parts that have to be right are not left to a language model at all. Your calories, protein, fat, carbohydrate, fibre and water are deterministic arithmetic from your own numbers, run the same way every time.

The chat coach sits on top of that arithmetic and edits the plan rather than describing it. It can take a session off a day, unload an aching joint, swap two days, change sets, reps or load, rename a meal with full per-ingredient gram weights, or log sets you trained somewhere else.

It is also plain about its limits. It cannot rewrite the programme itself, delete your history, or touch anyone else's plan, and it says so when you ask. It never announces a change as already made: the server applies each edit after the words and reports whether it landed.

The knowledge behind it is a rules corpus distilled from strength and nutrition podcasts plus hand-written doctrine, retrieved by keyword and used as grounding rather than improvised on the spot.

How much does it cost?

SUITA is a paid app, and the price for your country is shown on the App Store and Google Play listing before you buy.

Payment is handled by Apple or Google in your store account, not by SUITA. That is where the currency, the price and any change to it are set.

If it is not on your platform yet, put your email on the waitlist at /#get and you will hear when it lands.

Is there a free trial?

No. SUITA has no free trial and no free tier.

You buy it from the App Store or Google Play, and the whole app is yours from the first day: the diet, the training programme, the coach, the family seats and the Apple Watch app.

One thing is never behind the paywall. Revoking a paired Apple Watch always works.

Is it safe for beginners?

Yes, and SUITA is built to hold a beginner back rather than push one along. Calories never go below your resting metabolic rate, ever, even under a dietician's override, and under-18s are given no deficit and no surplus.

The training starts from the days and the equipment you actually have. Three or two sessions a week are full body, one session is a single full-body day, and every movement your venue cannot set up is rewritten into one it can.

SUITA is not a medical device and gives no medical advice. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are under 18, speak to a doctor before you start.

Is it for men or women?

Both. SUITA plans for one person at a time, and sex is one input to the arithmetic rather than a different product.

Your resting metabolic rate comes from Mifflin-St Jeor using your weight of record, height, age and sex. Calories, protein, fat, carbohydrate, fibre and water all follow from that number and your goal.

The training rules are the same for everyone. What shapes your week is how many days you can train, what equipment you have, and which joints you have asked to unload.

Can I use it while pregnant?

Speak to your doctor first, and follow what they tell you over anything SUITA writes. SUITA is not a medical device and gives no medical advice.

If a clinician gives you macros, photograph their sheet into the coach. A dietician's sheet outranks the formula, and the app adopts those macros.

One guardrail never lifts, even under an override: calories are never set below your resting metabolic rate.

Do I need a gym?

No. SUITA fits the same programme to whatever you have, from a full barbell rack to an empty room.

Venue fit rewrites every movement your venue cannot set up, so the split keeps its shape when the equipment changes. Logged loads survive every rebuild, so your history stays attached to the work you did.

The skill and posture day is bodyweight and bands by design, and needs nothing at all.

Can I train at home with no equipment?

Yes. SUITA rewrites every prescription your venue cannot set up, so a no-equipment week still runs push, pull and legs in the right order.

The angle rule holds at home as well as in a gym. A muscle loaded one day is never loaded from the same angle, with the same implement, or through the same movement the next day.

If you would rather not train at all, zero sessions a week is a real setting, and the diet runs on its own.

How long until I see results?

That depends on where you start and how much of the plan you actually hit, and SUITA promises no specific result. What it does give you is a target that adds up and a week you can repeat.

The offsets are deliberately moderate: minus 15 percent of your daily energy to cut, plus 8 percent to gain, and zero to recomp or maintain. Nothing steeper is offered, because steeper is what people quit.

Weigh in whenever you like. A weigh-in updates your weight of record, and every target calculated from it is worked out again for the days that follow.

The diet

How is my diet calculated?

By arithmetic, not by a language model. SUITA works out your resting metabolic rate with Mifflin-St Jeor from your weight of record, height, age and sex.

Daily energy is that rate multiplied by 1.35 for a sedentary job or 1.5 for an active one. Each day then adds its own modelled session burn on top, so a training day eats more than a rest day.

Your goal applies an offset: minus 15 percent to cut, plus 8 percent to gain, zero to recomp or maintain. Calories never go below your resting rate, ever.

Protein is 2.0 g per kg cutting, 1.8 recomping or gaining and 1.6 maintaining, dosed on lean target weight when a tape measurement exists. Fat is 28 percent of calories inside a 20 to 35 percent band with a hard floor of 0.7 g per kg, carbohydrate is the remainder, fibre is 14 g per 1000 kcal, and water is 35 ml per kg plus 500 ml for creatine, 250 ml per protein shake and 250 ml per coffee up to eight.

Does it count calories for me?

Yes. SUITA sets the day's calories and macros and then writes the meals that meet them, so there is nothing left for you to add up.

The day is one cooked main, a first meal, a shake, one or two snacks and a night item, all inside your eating window. No plate goes under 30 g of protein unless the whole day is too small to allow it, and the main is capped at 55 percent of the day, so you are never handed a plate holding three quarters of your food.

You tick meals off as you eat them. The macros on your phone and on your watch move with the ticks.

Do I have to weigh my food?

You can, and SUITA gives you the numbers to do it properly, but the plan works if you simply cook to the recipe.

Every meal shows exact per-ingredient portions, raw and cooked, for example 250 g cooked (85 g raw), so a bag of dry rice and a plate of cooked rice are never confused.

Recipes carry photos, steps and portions that scale to your targets. A kitchen scale is a precision tool here, not a requirement.

What about protein, how much do I need?

SUITA sets protein from your body weight and your goal: 2.0 g per kg cutting, 1.8 g per kg recomping or gaining, and 1.6 g per kg maintaining.

Where a tape measurement exists, the dose is worked out on your lean target weight rather than scale weight, which keeps the number honest at either end of the range.

It is then spread through the day instead of stacked into dinner. No plate goes under 30 g of protein unless the whole day is too small to allow it.

Can I swap a meal I do not like?

Yes. Tell the coach and it swaps or renames the meal with full per-ingredient gram weights, and the day still hits your targets.

The swap is applied by the server after the coach has replied, and you are told whether it landed. The coach never announces a change as already made.

Allergy rules are applied to the replacement exactly as they were applied to the original, so a swap cannot smuggle an allergen onto your plate.

What if I have allergies?

SUITA keeps every allergen you declare off every plate it writes, and in a household it does that for everyone at once.

Nine known allergen groups are handled: dairy, gluten, nuts, peanuts, shellfish, fish, eggs, soy and sesame. Each is expanded to the ingredient words, byproducts and substitutes that carry it, and free-text allergies are matched by word.

Opaque products are treated as carrying everything their common versions carry. Oats count as gluten unless the packet says gluten free.

A supplement that an allergy rules out is switched off automatically, and the coach tells you why.

Does it work if I am vegetarian or vegan?

Yes. SUITA writes the day around food you will actually eat, and it will not put an ingredient on your plate that you have ruled out.

Fish, shellfish, dairy and eggs are among the groups it already knows, expanded to the byproducts and substitutes that carry them. Anything else you do not eat goes in as a free-text entry and is matched by word.

Your macro targets do not move when the ingredients do. Protein is still hit, just from different sources, and every portion is still given raw and cooked.

Can I follow my dietician's plan?

Yes, and SUITA treats it as the higher authority. A dietician's sheet outranks the formula: photograph it into the coach and the app adopts those macros.

Your meals are then written to their numbers instead of the calculated ones, with the same per-ingredient portions raw and cooked, the same allergy rules and the same eating window.

One floor survives the override. Calories are never set below your resting metabolic rate.

Can I import from MyFitnessPal?

Yes. SUITA imports from MyFitnessPal or LoseIt by CSV.

That brings your history across, so the app is not starting from an empty log on the first day.

Going the other way, groceries sums seven days of scaled ingredients into one list you can shop from.

The training

How many days a week should I train?

Pick the number you can actually keep. SUITA builds a different, complete week for each one, and anything from zero to seven is a real answer.

Seven is Sunday skill and posture, Monday push, Tuesday pull, Wednesday legs, Thursday push, Friday pull, Saturday legs. Six is the same minus Sunday. Five is upper, lower, rest, push, pull, legs. Four is upper, lower, upper, lower. Three or two are full body, and one is a single full-body day.

Zero is diet only, and it is a real setting rather than an empty week: no session exists anywhere, every weekday is a walk day, and the coach is told outright never to invent one.

What if I miss a day?

Nothing shifts. A session you skip is gone for that date and is never re-served on the next training day.

That is deliberate. A programme that slides forward turns one missed Tuesday into a week that never catches up, and it would break the rule that stops the same muscle being loaded from the same angle two days running.

Two actions move a session, and only two: swapping two days, or pulling another day's session onto today. Ask the coach for either.

What is the posture day?

The posture day is a 35-minute skill and posture session, bodyweight and bands, and it exists only in a seven-session week.

It sits between a legs day and a push day, on Sunday, which is why dropping to six sessions removes that day first.

Separate from it, posture work for desk patterns and neck work twice a week can be switched on. Both are off by default, and neck work never lands on a legs day or on the posture day.

Why does it not repeat the same exercise two days running?

Because of the angle rule. A muscle loaded one day is never loaded from the same angle, with the same implement, or through the same movement the next day.

Every movement resolves to a pattern, an angle and an implement, and two prescriptions clash when they share a primary muscle and that triple. A week that breaks the rule is refused outright, and the refusal names the offending pair.

In practice the second push is incline dumbbell then flat barbell, the second pull is cable pulldown then band-assisted pull-up, and the second legs day is back squat then Bulgarian split squat.

What if I get injured or something aches?

Tell the coach and it unloads the joint for a number of days. Shoulder, elbow, wrist, neck, lower back, hip, knee and ankle are all handled.

The programme keeps running around it. Movements that load the joint are rewritten the same way venue fit rewrites a movement your equipment cannot set up, and your logged loads survive the rebuild.

A real injury is a matter for a clinician, not an app. SUITA gives no medical advice, and pain that is sharp, new, or not settling should be looked at by a doctor.

The coach

What can the coach actually change?

The SUITA coach edits your plan rather than just talking about it. It can take a session off a day, move its start time, swap two days, pull another day's session onto today, and log an outside class or swim.

Inside a session it can add, swap, skip or reorder an exercise, change sets, reps or load, lay one of your own sessions on a given day, unload an aching joint for a number of days, and set the daily practice movement.

On the food side it can swap or rename a meal with full per-ingredient gram weights, tick meals, water and sessions done or skipped, file a weigh-in you mentioned in conversation, and adopt a photographed dietician sheet. It can also log sets you trained outside the app up to a fortnight back.

It cannot rewrite the programme itself, delete your history, or touch anyone else's plan, and it says so plainly when asked.

Can I change my goal halfway?

Yes, and the numbers follow the same day. Moving between cut, gain, recomp and maintain changes the offset applied to your daily energy: minus 15 percent, plus 8 percent, or zero.

Protein moves with it, from 2.0 g per kg cutting to 1.8 recomping or gaining and 1.6 maintaining. Fat stays at 28 percent of calories inside its band, and carbohydrate takes whatever remains.

Your training does not have to change when your goal does. The split is set by how many days a week you train, not by whether you are cutting or gaining.

What happens when I weigh in?

A weigh-in updates your weight of record, and every target calculated from it is worked out again.

That is your resting metabolic rate, your daily energy, your protein dose, the fat floor, the carbohydrate remainder and your water target. Meals from then on are written to the new numbers.

You can file a weigh-in in the app, or simply mention it to the coach in conversation and it records it for you.

How many messages do I get with the coach?

120 messages per account per day.

Most people never reach it, because a turn does work rather than fills a chat log. Answers run to about 110 words, and then the edits are applied.

The server applies each edit after the words and reports whether it landed, so you are never left guessing whether a change went through.

Where does the coach get its knowledge?

From a written rules corpus, not from whatever the model happens to remember. The knowledge behind the SUITA coach is distilled from strength and nutrition podcasts plus hand-written doctrine.

It is retrieved by keyword and used as grounding for the answer, so advice is anchored to something written down rather than improvised.

The parts that must be exact are never left to the model at all. Your calories and macros are arithmetic, run identically every time from your own measurements.

Family, watch and modes

Can my family use one plan?

A household shares one menu, and SUITA gives you five seats to fill.

The owner invites with a six-character code that is good for seven days and can be used once. Everyone keeps their own goal, their own macros and their own training. What the family shares is the food.

Allergies are a live union across the household, so an allergy anywhere in the house is honoured on every plate, for everyone. Joining, or changing an allergy, rebuilds every other member from tomorrow.

A supplement that somebody in the house cannot have is switched off automatically, and the coach says why.

Does it work on Apple Watch?

Yes, and the watch is not a phone relay. It talks to the server on its own token.

Pair it by handing a token over from the phone, or by dialling a short-lived pair code from the wrist. Revoking a watch is never behind the paywall.

On the wrist you get the day, the macros from ticked meals, water glasses, the next meal and the burn. It runs the session too: exercise loops, set and rest timers, heart rate through the work, and a nudge to photograph the meal.

Taps are idempotent and each one names the day it was made on, so a queue flushed after midnight still files against the right day. Heart rate zones reach the coach.

Can I use it for diet only, with no training?

Yes. Zero sessions a week is a real choice in SUITA, not an empty programme.

No session exists anywhere in the week, every weekday is a walk day, and the coach is told outright never to invent one.

An outside swim or class is still logged and still counted against the day's burn, so your food moves with what you actually did.

Does it work offline?

The parts you need in a gym basement do. Set logging is offline first: a local queue, then a sync when you have signal again.

With no network you still have the cached plan, the cached meals and the loops you have already watched.

No plan is ever generated on the device, so a brand-new plan needs a connection. Everything logged while offline files against the right day when the queue flushes, including across midnight.

Billing, privacy and data

How do I cancel?

Cancel in your store account, not in SUITA. A subscription bought on iPhone is managed in your Apple subscription settings, and one bought on Android in Google Play.

Payment and cancellation are handled entirely by Apple or Google. SUITA never sees your card details and cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf.

If a charge looks wrong, the store is where to start. Message us through the form at /support and we will help you work out where it went.

What do you do with my data?

SUITA holds what it needs to write your plan and sells none of it. There is no advertising, no third-party analytics and no tracking.

In the app that means the profile you enter, weigh-ins, tape measurements, logged sets, meals ticked, water, photos you send the coach, and Apple Watch heart rate. It is used to calculate your targets, write your meals and run your sessions.

On this website it means only what you type into the contact form or the waitlist, held in a Cloudflare D1 database. A salted SHA-256 hash of your IP address is kept for rate limiting, never the address itself. Website messages are deleted after 24 months by a nightly job.

The website sets no cookies at all. The full detail is on the privacy page, and data requests go through the form at /support.

Can I delete my account and everything in it?

Yes. Ask through the form at /support and your account and the data attached to it are removed.

Website messages run on their own clock regardless. A nightly job deletes contact-form messages and waitlist entries after 24 months.

Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel that in your Apple or Google settings as well.

Is SUITA medical advice?

No. SUITA is not a medical device and gives no medical advice.

Anyone with a medical condition, anyone who is pregnant, and anyone under 18 should talk to a doctor before starting. Under-18s are given no deficit and no surplus by the app.

Where a clinician has already given you a plan, follow theirs. Photograph a dietician's sheet into the coach and SUITA adopts those macros over its own formula.

Still asking. Put the question to a person.

SUITA is a paid app from the App Store or Google Play, with no free tier and no trial. Join the waitlist to hear when it reaches your platform, or write to the team about anything the page above did not cover.
