The AI coach

A chat that edits the plan rather than describing it

It answers in about 110 words, and then the edit lands. 120 messages per account per day, which most people never reach, because a turn does work instead of filling a chat log.

What it can do to the plan in front of you

Every line below is an edit the coach can make on its own, in the same turn you ask for it.

Your week

  • Take a session off a day
  • Move a session start time
  • Swap two days
  • Pull another day's session onto today
  • Log an outside class or a swim

Inside a session

  • Add, swap, skip or reorder an exercise
  • Change sets, reps or load
  • Lay one of your own sessions on a given day
  • Unload an aching joint for a number of days
  • Set the daily practice movement

Your food and your log

  • Swap or rename a meal with full per-ingredient gram weights
  • Tick meals, water and sessions done or skipped
  • Log sets you trained outside the app, up to a fortnight back
  • File a weigh-in you mentioned in conversation
  • Adopt a photographed dietician sheet

Joints it can unload

Name the one that aches and say for how long. The programme keeps running around it, and your logged loads survive the rebuild.

  • Shoulder
  • Elbow
  • Wrist
  • Neck
  • Lower back
  • Hip
  • Knee
  • Ankle
A protein shake being made

What it cannot do, said plainly rather than hidden

A coach that claims everything is a coach you cannot trust on anything. Ask it, and it tells you the same three limits.

  • It cannot rewrite the programme itself
  • It cannot delete your history
  • It cannot touch anyone else's plan in your household
The questions people ask

The guardrails around every edit it makes

The words come first, the edit after

It never announces a change as already made. The server applies the edits once the answer is written and reports whether each one landed, so you are never left guessing.

Every meal edit is checked again

A meal change is re-checked against the household diet rules before it can write, so a swap cannot smuggle an allergen onto a plate anywhere in the house.

An unknown movement is still accepted

Name a movement the library does not carry and it goes in anyway. The movement is studied in the background rather than refused at the point you asked for it.

It still logs with no signal

Offline, water, meals, weight and sets go into a local queue and sync when you have a connection again. Everything files against the day it was made on.

The knowledge behind the answer is written down

A rules corpus distilled from strength and nutrition podcasts, plus hand-written doctrine. It is retrieved by keyword and used as grounding, so an answer is anchored to something written rather than improvised on the spot.

How the numbers are set

The parts that must be exact are not left to it

Calories, protein, fat, carbohydrate, fibre and water are arithmetic, run identically every time from your own measurements. The coach edits the plan around them. It does not pick them.
